Eitan Medical has introduced a new cloud-based infusion management software platform, dubbed Eitan Insights, to address the unique needs of home and speciality infusions.

The Israel-based drug delivery company designed Eitan Insights to provide prescription compliance data and pump geo location in near-real time.

The data can be used to assess treatment progress, support rapid patient triage, and drive proactive care planning.

Eitan Insight enables at-home infusion providers to optimise resources and reduce hospital readmission, in order to improve both patient and caregiver experience.

Also, it eliminates subjectivity, which helps prevent anxiety-provoking troubleshooting, thus helping improve both patient and caregiver experience, said the Israeli company.

Eitan Medical medication delivery solutions CEO Shaul Eitan said: “We are honoured that our device platform and its accompanying technology has been designated as the Best New Technology Solution in the 2023 MedTech Breakthrough Awards Program.

“This confirms that Eitan Medical is set for sustainable growth with a focus on a strong innovation roadmap that will redefine the drug delivery market. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of healthcare technology.”

Eitan Medical develops advanced infusion therapy and drug delivery solutions to improve patient and clinician quality of life across hospital, ambulatory, and home care environments.

Its new infusion management solution Eitan Insights can be connected to its infusion systems, Sapphire and Avoset, and can receive infusion treatment data from them.

The company’s Sapphire infusion platform, with universal turnkey cellular accessory Sapphire Connect, provides connected infusion therapy systems in hospital and ambulatory settings.

Its Avoset infusion pump with AvosetGo app is a connected infusion multi-therapy ambulatory infusion system that complements Sapphire platform.

Eitan Medical digital health vice president Shahar Nordia: “Winning the MedTech Breakthrough Award for Best New Technology Solution in Drug Delivery is an incredible honour and validation of the hard work and dedication that has gone into creating Eitan Insights, our cloud-based infusion management platform.

“This award is a testament to our commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology and we are thrilled to be recognised as such.”
