Encision, a provider of minimally-invasive surgical devices, has entered into a purchasing agreement with HealthTrust Purchasing Group. The products designated in the agreement are 'Laparoscopic Safety Instruments - Active Electrode Monitoring Laparoscopy.'

Based in Boulder, Colorado, Encision designs, develops, manufactures and markets surgical devices that allow surgeons to optimize technique and patient safety during a broad range of surgical procedures.

Encision pioneered the development of patented AEM Laparoscopic Instruments to improve electrosurgery and reduce the chance for patient injury in minimally invasive surgery.

Headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, HealthTrust Purchasing Group supports nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities, as well as ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, and alternate care sites.
