Sysmex America has signed a three-year contract agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners, the group purchasing unit of Premier, providing Premier member-hospitals and healthcare sites access to Sysmex hematology analyzers, automation, reagents, consumables and services. The contract is effective from August 1, 2010.

Sysmex America was also awarded a three-year sole-source hematology agreement for Premier’s Accelerated Supply Chain Endeavor (ASCEND) program member-participants. ASCEND helps Premier members achieve sustained improvement in supply chain performance and efficiency.

Sysmex America offers clinical laboratory systemization and solutions, including clinical diagnostics, automation and information systems.

Premier works with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the United Kingdom’s National Health Service North West to improve hospital performance. Premier has offices in San Diego, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Washington.
