Unique 3-in-1 Welding Concept
The Select Manual Welder features a unique 3-in-1 concept
1. Manual, where the operator holds the workpiece and moves it by hand. This requires almost no setup time, and is ideal for repair work, process development and single piece production.
2. Joystick, where the workpiece is stationary, and the weld path is moved by system motors. A “teach” function speeds repetitive tasks. This delivers higher precision, and is great for small batch production and repetitive tasks.
3. CNC programming mode, where instructions are entered through the touchscreen, via “teach” mode, or imported from a file.
Select is available with either a pulsed Nd:YAG or fiber laser. The Nd:YAG offers a wide operational power range for very small, strong welds, and works well with high-reflective materials. The fiber laser is a low maintenance, highly stable source which delivers fine, high-quality welds for the most demanding applications.
Intuitive Operation
The system features simplified operation. Control is via an easy-to-use GUI with a 7” multi touchscreen, together with a user-friendly software that integrates laser and motion functions.
