UV Flu Technologies has started shipments of its ViraTech UV-400 air purifier to its new European distributor Societe Nema Citizen, a distributor of Citizen Brand electronics of Paris, France.
The ViraTech UV-400 utilises high-intensity germicidal ultraviolet radiation (UV-C) inside a killing chamber that goes beyond filtering to destroy harmful bacteria.
UV Flu Technologies president Jack Lennon said that much of their initial shipment is slated for use as demonstration products specifically targeting fifty major catalog re-sellers and the distributor further supports these introductory efforts by offering an internet presence combined with a sizeable and knowledgeable sales force spread across the continent.
“The ViraTech UV-400 kills many types of airborne contaminants thereby minimizing their ability to spread, so we believe we can easily help reverse the possibility of dramatic increases in some of the most common, yet potentially deadly situations,” Lennon said.
UV Flu Technologies is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of bio technology products initially targeting the rapidly growing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry sector.
