ulrich medical, a medical technology company, has launched a new family of lumbosacral interbody cages in the US.
The new PEEK Cage implants include pezo-P and pezo-T for posterior approaches and pezo-A for anterior approach, designed for use in multiple indications including degenerative disc disease.
ulrich medical senior marketing manager Tom Carter said the German-designed pezo system features slimline, surgeon-optimized instrumentation that is standardized for all three cages.
"Each of our cages feature unique designs to meet surgeon demands," Carter added.
"The pezo-P implant has a bulleted nose and is available in a unique footprint up to 29mm in length.
"The pezo-T implant is a banana/bullet design and has one of the largest footprints available on the market with a 34X16mm (length to width) option and the pezo-A has a large footprint which also accommodates a lateral approach."
