RaySearch Laboratories has signed a distribution agreement with Seoul-based Oncology Total Solution (OTS).

Under the agreement, OTS is fully responsible to commercialize RaySearch’s proprietary treatment planning system – RayStation – through out the South Korean market.

RayStation is built on software architecture and has a graphical user interface and features a multi-criteria optimization (MCO) tools with support for 4D adaptive radiation therapy.

RaySearch CEO Johan Lof said they are working hard to finalize distribution agreements in other Asian markets so their coverage is set to grow rapidly.

OTS CEO H W Jang said RaySearch has a deep expertise in advanced treatment planning solutions and RayStation has a number of advanced features both for photon and proton therapy and a modern user-friendly interface.

"The system represents a quantum leap in treatment planning and we are confident that the system will be highly appreciated by the South Korean clinics," Jang said.
