Probo Medical, a provider of medical imaging equipment, parts, repair and service, has acquired US-based Tenvision for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Gallatin of Tennessee, Tenvision is a medical equipment sales, service, maintenance, repair and training organisation with expertise in ultrasound equipment.
The company’s sales representatives, field service engineers and in-house repair technicians offer products and services to meet the ultrasound equipment requirements of healthcare organisations.
Founded in 2005, Tenvision is engaged in selling and servicing major brands of ultrasound systems such as GE, Philips, Siemens and Toshiba. It markets equipment across the world and provides service throughout the US.

Probo provides refurbishment, sales, parts, service and repair on a range of medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound, C-Arms, CT, MRI, PET/CT and X-Ray.
The company is supported by Varsity Healthcare Partners, which is a lower middle-market private equity investment firm that works with founders, entrepreneurs and management teams to develop healthcare services companies.
In April, Probo announced the acquisition of SonoDepot, a St. Cloud, Florida based third-party service, maintenance, and repair organisation with deep specialisation in ultrasound equipment.
