The vital signs monitoring system is developed for use in multiple care settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, private practices and rural clinics, Philips said.
The VS2 will be able to store up to 100 patient records at any given time allowing clinicians to view stored records for all patients or a selected patient. Apart from all these a new optional wireless capability permits user to transport the system from patient to patient to obtain needed data and securely transmit it to a patient’s EMR.
