Pentax Europe has selected NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) as the preferred partner and supplier of medical visualisation solutions.
The agreement signals a Europe-wide expansion in the relationship between two companies for technology innovation.
NDSsi’s medical imaging systems, products and a range of customisable solutions, are expected to give Pentax a winning strategic partner in the global market.
The wide range of industry-leading surgical displays offered by NDSsi (from 15” to 55”) are said to have played a role in the Pentax team’s decision making.
Pentax Europe Life Care general manager Harald Beyer said that NDSsi’s expertise and advancements in imaging technology will be a perfect complement to their product roadmap.
“Innovations such as NDSsi’s multi-modality capability, displaying two endoscopic source images simultaneously, using wireless technology with no loss of quality or time delay, are what differentiate them from the competition,” Beyer said.
NDSsi Europe vice president and general manager Kees Poot said that expanding their association with one of the most prestigious global imaging leaders is a reflection of their commitment to innovation.
“Our technologists are ready to support PENTAX with the quality and customization they need for market growth,” Poot said.
