Olympus, a manufacturer of optics and reprography products, has unveiled three new endoscopic products.
The three new products includes two video endoscopes for the digestive system.
Olympus said the endoscopes are inserted inside the body to diagnose intestinal, stomach cancers and other illnesses.
Apart from endoscopes, Olympus has also unveiled an energy-based surgical device which can include instruments that both cut and cauterize tissue to stem bleeding.
The company has also launched an ultrasonic gastrointestinal videoscope in December 2010, a colon videoscope in August 2010 and an ear, nose and throat endoscope in September 2011.
