Polymer Technology Systems has entered into a multiyear agreement to supply its CardioChek PA test system to Life Line Screening.
The CardioChek test system, which provides the results in less than two minutes, provides on-site lipid panel screening including total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL as well as glucose.
Life Line Screening laboratory medical director Benjamin Gerson said the company is certified under the CLIA federal mandate with a Certificate of Compliance.
"The CardioChek system does not require a venous draw, allowing us to deliver fast results so our teams can provide clients with immediate feedback," Gerson added.
Life Line Screening global manager Kevin Luckow said the company is expanding its operations around the world, and they have the knowledge and experience in the intricacies of global business it need to grow.
"PTS has the products, operational efficiencies, training, and distribution in place that we were looking for," Luckow added.
"It doesn’t require refrigeration and is battery-operated, which are important operational benefits for our teams."
