Medicomp launches ICD-10-CM with new version of the Medcin Engine

Medicomp Systems, a provider of medical information technology, has launched its ICD-10-CM with a new version of the Medcin Engine.

The Medcin Engine adapts clinical presentation of each patient and provides enterprises with all the codes needed for compliance and reimbursement.

The Medcin Engine makes it easier to get bi-directional mappings, codes, descriptions, and new UI especially designed to make ICD-10-CM more usable in EMR systems.

Medicomp Systems Peter Goltra said they believe this new version of the MEDCIN Engine will go a long way to make a move from ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM easier to absorb by EMR vendors, physicians and their staff.
