The data then was verified using iSirona’s DataAuthenticator prior to being uploaded into the Siemens Clinical Suite.
iSirona claims its technology is centered around DeviceConX, a vendor-neutral software solution that can integrate patient data from any device from any manufacturer -including devices with their own gateways – and deliver the data to any clinical information system.
For standalone devices, iSirona provides connectivity solutions, supporting both bedside and mobile clinical workflows.
iSirona CEO Dave Dyell said the data collected by the Stryker InTouch smart bed automatically collects critical data that clinicians need.
"But when a hospital takes the process to the next level by implementing an integration solution such as iSirona’s, that data can be in the electronic medical record much more quickly, which improves both patient care and patient safety," Dyell said.
