EOS imaging, a developer of medical imaging systems, has deployed its EOS 2D/3D orthopedic imaging system at Singapore's National University Hospital (NUH).

NUH, a member of National University Health System, is involved in providing medical technologies and orthopedic surgical services.

NUH University Orthopedics Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery Cluster chair and University Spine Center head Hee Kit Wong said, "We are very pleased to be able to allow our patients to benefit from EOS technology, both within the framework of routine clinical screenings and as part of the substantial clinical research work we carry out in our establishment."

EOS imaging CEO Marie Meynadier said the installation of EOS equipment at NUH represents a milestone in the company’s development in Asia.

"We will build on the success of this first installation in such a prestigious and well-known institution to deploy our technology throughout Southeast Asia, a geographical region with substantial potential," Meynadier added.
