CRF Health, a provider of ePRO solutions, has obtained approval to use validated electronic versions of the asthma control questionnaire (ACQ) and the asthma quality of life questionnaire (AQLQ) instruments on its TrialMax Touch Windows handheld ePRO devices.

The ACQ measures both the adequacy of, and any changes in, patient asthma control, while AQLQ measures the functional problems of asthma patients and provides an insight into the impact of the disease on patient’s quality of life.

CRF Health said the electronic versions of the ACQ and AQLQ on TrialMax Touch Windows devices facilitates clinical trial managers in designing trials.

TrialMax Touch devices also have capability of wireless integration between the HTC HD2 and the handheld Vitalograph asma1 FEV1 and
