Swiss proteomics company Biognosys has introduced a new Sample Preparation Kit for mass spectrometry based proteomics applications.

The new kit will allow a reproducible processing of 50 cell culture or plasma samples for all mass spectrometry proteomics measurements such as MRM/SRM, HRM/DIA/SWATH and shotgun MS/MS.

Noted to be an important tool in biology and medicine, mass spectrometry based proteomics will help to identify and quantify thousands of proteins from different sample sources.

The kit is said to require a 10µl of plasma or 100µg of protein from cell culture pellets per sample as starting material to prepare ready-to-inject samples.

Biognosys also provides in-house discovery services applying its next-generation proteomics technologies, in addition to different products.

Established in 2008, the company offers services and products for multiplexed protein quantification.
