Michigan-based Amae Plastic Surgery Center has deployed eClinicalWorks' electronic medical records (EMR) system to improve patient care and service.
The EMR system includes patient’s medical history which can be shared between doctors, hospitals, labs, pharmacies.
With the implementation of EMR, patients of the center have gained online access to allow review and updating of medical history, sending messages directly to Amae, access to patient registration forms, prescriptions, refills and lab reports, as well as receiving appointment reminders, reviewing billing statements and even paying bills online.
Board-certified Michigan plastic surgeon Dr. Ali said the EMR system provides patients with quality of care.
"This EMR and Patient Management (PM) system allows me to share information directly with patients and other providers, which will improve treatment and streamlines administration," Ali added.
