The AliveCor Mobile ECG will now be integrated into LifeWatch’s remote cardiac monitoring service, AliveCor’s first step into remote patient monitoring.

Remote monitoring with the FDA cleared AliveCor Mobile ECG outside of the care setting, will allow care providers to remotely monitor and manage their patients while also providing patients the peace of mind to see what is going on with their heart health in real time. This can potentially lessen the burden on the health care system, enable healthcare providers to monitor high-risk patients, and help patients retain their independence and control over their heart health.

The AliveCor® Mobile ECG is intended to record, store and transfer single-channel ECG rhythms. The AliveCor Mobile ECG also displays ECG rhythms and detects the presence of atrial fibrillation and normal sinus rhythm (when prescribed or used under the care of a physician).

The AliveCor Mobile ECG is intended for use by healthcare professionals, patients with known or suspected heart conditions and health conscious individuals.
