Healthcare solutions provider Aidoc has introduced its artificial intelligence (AI)-based cardiovascular solutions package aimed at enabling effective care of cardiovascular patients.

The suite is said to automatically gather data and use AI to produce clinical insights to simplify communication to help in the follow-up of patients. This will increase the downstream procedures, said the company.

Aidoc’s AI technology is said to enhance clinician efficiency, minimise the length of stay, and shorten the turnaround time to mitigate average hospital costs.

Aidoc CEO Elad Walach said: “Tremendous pressure exists within the healthcare industry today. Leaders need to find new ways to deliver on outcomes while balancing continued challenges from revenue leakage to staffing concerns.

“We help address these challenges by developing a system of intelligence that connects the dots across the health system. Our solutions analyse information, find valuable insights and deliver them to the right physician.

“The cardiovascular setting is crucial to care in acute and non-acute settings, so helping cardiologists and cardiovascular proceduralists get the right insights based on a patient’s data is critical.”

The cardiovascular product portfolio of the healthcare AI solutions provider consists of solutions for cardiovascular diseases that are prevalent as well as benefit the most with the application of AI to hospital workflows.

It includes products for aortic care, venous thromboembolism, coronary artery disease, structural heart, and echocardiography.

Delivered via the firm’s exclusive aiOS, Aidoc implements AI in the facilities by tackling challenges like unstructured data, staff capacity, return on investment (ROI) measurement, and siloed organisational structures.

Aidoc said that the solutions and workflows are customised according to the facility’s specific requirements and native systems.

The enterprise platform has products to manage touchpoints within the patient care continuum.

It has Aidoc CareCo mobile app for pulmonary embolism response team (PERT), aortic, and structural heart care teams and Aidoc Infinity for patients with untreated or undertreated coronary artery disease.

Additionally, the list includes Aidoc Rad, a radiology product line for image-based triage and quantification. It also has AI-driven Aidoc Enroll for automatic patient identification for enrolment in clinical trials.
