Acacia Research’s Catheter Flushing subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) and Argon Medical Devices.
The agreement covers patents generally relating to the catheterization of patients using a guide wire and a flushing port.
The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the US District Court for the District of Utah.
Athens, Texas-based Argon Medical is a global manufacturer of single-use medical devices for interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, and critical care.
The US based BD manufactures and sells a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products.
