Gelatin for safe micro- and submicron particle applications

Gelatin-based micro- and submicron particles have gained increased interest in the fields of drug delivery and regenerative medicine. However, these micro- and submicron particle formulations can contain endotoxins, which is a safety challenge in these specific applications. A new and ultra-pure gelatin, X-Pure, is now available for preparing gelatin micro- and submicron particles with exceptionally low endotoxin levels.
