Bangerter offers components made of the following materials depending on the application:

  • Aluminum oxide Al2O3 with a purity as high as 99.9%
  • Zirconium oxide ZrO2, yttrium or magnesium-stabilised
  • Mixed ceramics made of Al2O3 and ZrO2 (ATZ/ZTA)
  • Silicon nitride, Si3N4 isostatically pressed either hot or cold
  • Silicon carbide, SiC or SiSiC (with free silicon)
  • Piezo ceramic, PZT
  • Glass ceramic such as Macor
