Our team has experience within and outside Government on the development of EU Directives and UK Regulations and includes a member with ten years’ experience within the Government Legal Services. We provide regular advice and briefings for clients on the impact of policy proposals and consultations on their operations. Recent work in this area includes advising Ofgem on the Electricity Act 1989, the Gas Act 1986, and the Enterprise Bill and advising various clients on issues such as Climate Change Levy, Renewables Obligation, carbon capture and storage, microgeneration, hydrogen economy and Energy Bill issues.
