Colder’s plastic quick disconnect couplings can be found in a wide range of general purpose, medical, bioprocessing and chemical management applications. Couplings, fittings and connectors are available in ABS, acetal, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polysulfone, PTFE and PVDF. Additional materials are available for custom projects.

General purpose

DrumQuik

This minimises the potential for dangerous chemical exposure while protecting the purity of the chemicals themselves from contamination.

Food grade

Quick disconnect couplings are preferred over general fittings for fluid control because they incorporate built-in shut-off valves that prevent spillage, allow multiple disconnections and faster servicing. This also enables tubing to be disconnected without having to turn off the water supply. Many Colder couplings are NSF listed to create cleaner, faster and safer connections with both plastic and copper tubing.
