In a collaborative effort, working closely together with the customer’s project team, our consultants provide services like:
• Preparation of a feasibility study for implementing a LIMS, including measures to take, benefits, rough time and cost estimate
• Designing a lab informatics scenario based on the business goals and project targets of the laboratory. This might include the needs evaluation for software products like ELN, SDMS or the interfacing to ERP in order to complement the envisioned LIMS application.
• Business Process Analysis in order to map the lab’s sample and data workflow as a basis for streamlining the laboratory tasks before a LIMS is established. This improves lab efficiency and simplifies the implementation of the software.
• Preparation of a profitability analysis to evaluate the cost and potential savings by comparing the financial effort and the expenditure of time before and after a LIMS implementation.
