BaymedixTM CH polyurethane dispersions offer these key properties:

  • Hydrophilic: reduced friction, improved biocompatibility
  • Strong and durable like traditional polyurethane coatings
  • Low-swelling (< 25% by mass)
  • Retain mechanical properties when hydrated
  • Hemocompatibility exceeds other medical polyurethanes
  • Applicable by standard dip- or spray coating processes

Two grades are available:

BaymedixTM CH 110/120

  • 40% solids in water, dilutable, solvent-free, no external surfactants, low viscosity (<100 mPa.s / cP)

BaymedixTM CH 310/320

  • 30% solids, mild, low-boiling solvent (toluene / isopropanol / methoxypropanol mix), high viscosity (>20,000 mPa.s /cP), dilutable, as application needs
