World Courier Announces New Gothenburg Facility

Gothenburg was chosen because the area has a wide variety of key businesses, mainly within the life science and automotive industries. There are also a number of universities and hospitals. Additionally a large percentage of Sweden’s entire import/export passes through Gothenburg.

Mattias Mineur, Regional Manager for World Courier Nordic says: "It was a natural step and a strategic decision to open an office in the second largest city in Sweden, fifth largest in Scandinavia. This expansion will allow us to meet increased industry expectations in the area as well as provide local contact and availability for our growing customer base."

The new facility is strategically located with proximity to the customer base and accessibility to the airport, and is equipped to handle all temperature ranges with GDP compliant, mapped, calibrated and monitored cold chain capacity and industry leading packaging systems. Customers who are shipping time and temperature sensitive items such as biological samples, medical devices and spare parts will benefit from the local presence, as well as those shipping documents, and clinical trial supplies.

World Courier is available for pick-up and delivery 24/7, 365 days a year including weekends and holidays and has consistent quality requirements and procedures worldwide.
