The first event, ‘designing for sterilization’, will take place on January 26 2012 in Solihull and will provide a comparison of the available technologies as well as reviewing the polymer, packaging and regulatory requirements which are essential for any manufacturer of sterile devices.
The second education day will focus on electron beam technology and will be held on April 25 in Daventry. The content of this day will be applicable for a range of industries including cosmetics, industrial applications as well as medical device manufacturers. Topics for discussion will include an introduction to accelerator beams as well as a review of beam applications; the day will culminate with a tour of the Daventry site.
