Vizinex RFID releases Sentry Slim Skinnie RFID tag

Vizinex RFID, the industry leader in developing and manufacturing high-performance RFID tags tailored to specific applications, is proud to announce it has launched a new high-performance UHF RFID tag, the Sentry Slim Skinnie.

"The Sentry Slim Skinnie is intended to provide a solution in applications where a read range of 6′-10′ is required, but footprint for mounting a tag is at a premium," said Ken Horton, CEO, Vizinex. "The tag is particularly effective for tagging and tracking such items as hand or power tools, weapons, lab equipment or instruments. The Slim Skinnie is much less expensive than the ceramic tags that are often used in these applications. In addition, Slim Skinnie is very rugged, and can be upgraded for high temperature service, such as use in autoclaves or paint drying booths."

Measuring 36.3mm x 6.9mm x 2.8mm, the Slim Skinnie is designed to be mounted on metal surfaces. The tag weighs 1.5g and provides 96-bit EPC memory plus 512-bit user memory. The operating temperature of this tag ranges from -58°F to 185°F.
