Welcome: Nine New Trainees Start Their Training at BINDER

A variety of candidates applied for the nine positions – the best candidates for BINDER were selected: Patrick Efinger and Manuel Irion (both as design draftsmen), Dennis Birk (IT specialist, system integration), Max Böttcher (machine and equipment operator), Alexander Mrotz (mechatronics engineer), Michael Jäger (construction mechanic, sheet metal fabrication), Sylvia Buhl and Melanie Kramer (both in industrial sales with additional foreign language qualification) and Jannik Reichmann (mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology) can now seize their opportunity and begin their future at BINDER. The involvement of trainees is valued and encouraged – experience has shown that it is worth the effort. BINDER ensures that the trainees broaden their skills in all areas of the company.

All trainees of BINDER GmbH are going off-site this Friday to get to know each other better. This will help trainees ease into the company and will offer a sweet change of venue with a visit to “Schoggiland” at maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG in Landquart. A tour of the company will show state-of-the-art production and finished products, and answer the yummy questions of “how chocolate is made” and “where the raw materials come from and how they are processed”. The trainees will then continue on to Technorama in Winterthur where physics, chemistry and natural sciences can be witnessed first hand. In group experiments, trainees will test, research and experience amazing things. The trainees will eat together to conclude the outing. For the nine trainees, the outing means a nice start and for BINDER, an important part of training because in addition to technical skills, it encourages social interaction with each other.
