Mrs. Schneider started her professional career with the auditing company Arthur Andersen. After positions as Head of Controlling in a construction company and as CFO of a medical-equipment-manufacturer in Berne, she worked during nine years as CEO/CFO in the Swiss watch-making industry. Lately, she was employed as CFO with a local micro-mechanical producer.
Mrs. Schneider has completed university studies in three different countries and obtained the fol-lowing diplomas: doctor’s degree in Economics (University of St. Gallen), Maîtrise ès Sciences de Gestion (University Paris-IX-Dauphine), Diplom-Kaufmann (Frankfurt University). Throughout her career she has acquired leadership skills and applied experience in accounting/finance of complex producing entities. Furthermore, Mrs. Schneider has specialised knowledge in corporate finance, coporate governance, controlling, consolidation, ICT/SAP and human resources.
Mrs. Schneider is elected member of the Finance commission in her community, member of the Swiss Alpine Club (sections Biel, La Neuveville), Yacht club of lake Biel/Bienne, Gymnastic club and Badminton club. Additionally, she is member of the alumni-networks from the universities of St. Gallen, Paris-IX-Dauphine and Frankfurt.
