“Our success is due to our tremendous employees and we thank each of them for their dedication,” said Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing for Epilog. “Although 2008 and 2009 brought challenges and uncertain times to many businesses, Epilog managed to sustain our position as industry leaders while maintaining our employee perks, and even adding a few new faces to the team.”
Epilog ranked fifth in 2007 and seventh in 2008. In the 2008 competition Epilog was the only manufacturing company to rank in the top ten in the medium-sized business category. The remaining finalists were made up of service companies including law, accounting and public relations firms.
Results are based on confidential employee engagement surveys that are filled out anonymously. Questions are given a value of one to six points ranging from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree” and winners are selected based on the measurement of 40 attributes known to drive employee engagement.
“We’re honored to have been placed in the top ten for two years in a row,” Dean said. “We’ll continue our great hiring practices and hopefully make our way to the number one spot!”
