June 17, 2009 – The Healthcare & Science business of Thomson Reuters today announced Accovion has purchased Liquent InSight® Publisher — a software solution used to quickly and easily create, review, amend and submit regulatory dossiers. Accovion is a full-service contract research organization (CRO).
Liquent InSight Publisher enables Accovion to publish clinical trial reports as well as offer its clients eCTD submission outsourcing services. Liquent InSight Publisher addresses the complex details of lifecycle linking, XML creation and paper requirements. It addresses all of the traditional submission product requirements and introduces new process advantages for submissions and submission updates. Utilizing Liquent software, Accovion can now prepared to properly file in the eCTD format.
As a CRO, our job is to provide our clients with sophisticated clinical development services, said Martin Schröder, Managing Director, Accovion. Liquent InSight Publisher increases our efficiency and allows us to quickly deliver reports without compromising quality. This purchase has made Accovion eCTD-ready which is extremely important to both our current and prospective clients.
Liquent InSight Publisher enhances an organization’s efficiency, reduces time to market and offers assurance of compliance by working within the latest regulatory guidelines and specifications. The software includes eCTD compliant submissions wizards, built-in templates and automatic PDF transform – all on one intuitive interface.

In anticipation of the 2010 EMEA mandate for eCTD format, many of our customers, including Accovion, demand submissions applications that will comply. Liquent InSight Publisher offers access to eCTD templates and includes the required ICH, STF and regional XML files.
