Ximedica, provider of healthcare development services, has appointed Randall Barko as new president and chief executive officer (CEO).
For the past three years, Randy served as an executive advisor to Ximedica and is now involved with several private equity and venture capital groups.
Randy served at Flextronics as vice president of corporate development and at Nypro as corporate vice president of marketing & business development.
At Nypro, he was responsible for the business teams that led to steady growth in annual sales from $40m to $1bn.
Barko also served as president and CEO of Nypro Medical Products Group and chairman of NP Medical.
Ximedica chairman and chief venture officer Stephen Lane said: "Randy’s experience and deep understanding of both the medical landscape and our organization’s ethos will be key drivers in our future growth."
