The new AED field tester, dubbed DFS200, will help efficiently run an AED including the machine and the battery.

WhaleTeq is offering the new model with different ECG patterns for AED defibrillation tests and an embedded battery voltage multimeter.

Different output thresholds can be placed by users to deliver the appropriate amount of energy by the device for both adults and children during an emergency.

DFS200 significant features include data retrieval and routine creation. The field tester has the potential to hold a complete history of every measurement made by the user in the device, including AED test results, date and time and user notes.

The AED management platform enables users to use and store data on the cloud. The stored data will help detect potential issues with minimal training.

A user has the chance to access clear and simple analytics of tested AED with a complete history of testing records in a phone app.

WhaleTeq said that anyone can easily identify abnormalities as results that need attention are marked.

The platform is said to support the firm’s latest field tester DFS200, in addition to any IoT-enabled AED. It will also offer daily analytics with IoT-enabled AEDs.

To efficiently manage customers and devices, all the information will be presented in a straightforward layout.

WhaleTeq stated that it has designed these features to optimise the regular testing and maintenance required to minimise AED failures.

Established in September 2013, WhaleTeq offers test solutions, including test equipment and associated services for medical devices.

The firm’s physiologic monitoring systems enable to test ECG, EEG, PPG and SpO2, as well as respiration monitoring.

WhaleTeq has worked with medical device providers such as GE, Philips, Siemens, Medtronic, in addition to international laboratories such as UL, SGS, TUV and CSA.
