Global private equity firm Warburg Pincus has acquired healthcare technology firm DocuTAP for an undisclosed sum.

DocuTAP offers software for electronic medical records, practice management software and revenue cycle management for around 1,300 urgent care and primary care clinics.

DocuTAP’s EMR and practice management software can incorporate practice management and electronic medical records in one complete system.

Established in 2000, the firm also provides revenue cycle management services.

According to the company, DocuTAP Analytics is a business intelligence tool with custom reports and built-in industry benchmarks.
