VWR International has completed the acquisition of its existing UK distributor, Lab3, for an undisclosed sum.
In addition to distributing VWR products, Lab3 provides custom labeling and kitting services including installation, calibration and repair on a broad array of laboratory equipment across the UK.
VWR International European Operations CEO, senior vice president and managing director Manuel Brocke-Benz said Lab3 is recognized throughout the UK for its broad technical services capability and as a well-respected distributor for the company regionally.
"This acquisition will enable VWR to expand our portfolio of technical services and custom kitting/assembly services in the UK to better serve our customers," Brocke-Benz added.
