Visiting Nurse Services (VNA) of Connecticut has chosen Cardiocom's new Commander Flex device to provide advanced home telehealth technology to patients with chronic conditions.

VNS of Connecticut patients use the Cardiocom Telehealth System to communicate with a VNS telehealth nurse.

The Commander Flex aids patients to check their health and collect information of vital signs including weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and heart rate and this obtained information is transmitted via a standard phone or a cellular signal.

Cardiocom develops its own telehealth devices for heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma and other chronic conditions.

The company’s clients include physician groups, hospitals, health plans, coordinated care companies and home health groups.
