Visionflex intends to integrate the Vonage Video API into advanced telehealth devices, medical equipment, and software solutions

Australian medical technology manufacturer Visionflex has selected Vonage to boost its advanced remote healthcare and diagnostic services.
Under the partnership, Visionflex will utilise the cloud communications company’s Vonage Communication Platform (VCP) to power telehealth and remote diagnostic equipment for medical professionals.
VCP is fully programmable and enables integration of video, voice, chat, messaging and verification into existing products, workflows and systems.
The platform includes programmable unified communications and contact centre applications that enable companies to transform how they communicate and operate.
The VCP APIs allow developers to enhance and build intelligent, intuitive customer experiences directly into their existing applications and devices, said the company.

To facilitate enhanced remote healthcare interactions, Visionflex intends to integrate the Vonage Video API directly into Vision Telehealth Platform, along with advanced telehealth devices, medical equipment, and software solutions.
Established in 2014, Visionflex is engaged in designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced clinical telehealth devices and software for remote clinical examinations.
It offers advanced software and hardware telehealth solutions to improve the medical examination, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of remote patients.
Its flagship products include the ProEX Telehealth Hub, ProEX Mobile, Vision telehealth medical software platform, and GEIS General Examination Camera HD.
The company claims that its solutions are being used by clients, including NSW Health, Queensland Health, WA Health, SA Health, Telstra Health, Royal Flying Doctor Service, and ExxonMobil, among others.
