To improve radiographic procedures with DR technology

Virtual Imaging, a Canon company, will introduce an imaging solutions and additions to its RadPRO product line at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2009), taking place at McCormick Place, November 29 – December 3.

Offering new clinical opportunities help to enhance workflow and patient care with its premier line of imaging solutions, the RadPRO product line will provide multiple options that emphasise advanced imaging technology and performance in field of radiology as said by the company.

The current RadPRO portfolio includes full general radiographic rooms, mobile X-ray solutions and DR upgrade solutions that emphasise the advanced DR imaging technology of the Canon CXDI-55 Series and CXDI-60 Series portable, multi-purpose flat panel detectors.

Featured products from the RadPRO product line will be introduced at RSNA 2009, including, RadPRO mobile C-arm, a system which offers mobile surgical C-arm performance including high image quality, flexible configurations and cooling system for prolonged operation. RadPRO URS (Universal Radiography System) with DR sensor increases its capabilities for 2010 with purpose. Integrated with Canon’s next generation flat panel technology, this compact powerhouse provides technicians with a dual purpose solution for dynamic and static imaging in one system.

Cypher print server helps to render high quality Dicom images on paper, the Cypher print server is an easy to use print solution that is able to receive images from any Dicom compliant modality with a Print SCU capability.

The images received can be printed to a Canon imagePRESS C1+ digital printing solution for non-diagnostic purposes such as sharing information with patients, referring physicians and insurance companies and saving copies in patient files. Cypher can handle multiple, simultaneous associations and can log the network exchange for the purpose of analysis. It also provides gamma and contrast image value adjustment for each individual printer.
