Verinata Health has moved its headquarters and laboratory operations to 800 Saginaw Drive, Redwood City, California.
The company’s initial focus is to develop a non-invasive tests utilizing their proprietary technologies which are used to early detect fetal chromosomal abnormalities.
Verinata CEO Caren Mason said they have designed a clinical laboratory with initial capacity of over 150,000 tests annually.
"In addition, we have expanded our R&D laboratory, with further expansion opportunities available for both clinical and research space," Mason said.
"We are pleased to report that our non-invasive prenatal test for multiple chromosomal abnormalities remains on track for commercial launch in the first quarter of 2012."
