Ventana Medical Systems, a member of the Roche Group, has launched iScan HT slide scanner prototype for the high-volume pathology laboratories.
The iScan HT slide scanner holds up to 360 slides and uses slide-handling technologies, claims the company.
It also features a slide transport system for safe handling of slides and Random access support to decouple slide loading and slide scanning as well as an immediate Stat override feature.
The scanner is integrated with workflow management software functionality to improve laboratory workflow optimization.
Ventana other suite of digital pathology solutions include the iScan Coreo Au slide scanner used for low to mid-volume pathology laboratories and labs interested in niche applications such as frozen sections and education.
