URAC, a Washington, DC-based healthcare accrediting organization, has granted Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) accreditation to Enclarity.

The certification was based on the third party validation of Enclarity’s ProviderPoint provider data service, which delivers critical data matching and correction services to its clients related to provider status and demographics.

The certification will help assure Enclarity clients, which include nine of the nation’s 15 largest health insurance plans, of the accuracy and currency of the company’s provider information, according to the company.

Enclarity chief executive officer Sean Downs said the certification demonstrates that the company’s provider data meets the established standards of quality and certifications required by the healthcare industry.

"It underscores our commitment to deliver the highest quality provider data and related solutions," Downs added.
