UL-DQS, a provider of management systems certifications, has recommended Labcon to re-certify its management system to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard.
Labcon’s quality management system includes the design and manufacture of research grade disposable laboratory products.
Labcon president Jim Happ said the company is pleased to be recommended for re-certification to ISO 9001.
"Labcon places a high value on quality and we work hard every day to improve our performance," Happ added.
UL DQS is a merger formed between Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and DQS (Germany’s first certification body).
