Claimed to be the first facility of this type in the country, the company will develop the Abu Dhabi Proton Centre (ADPC) along with SBK Holding and Albans Partners General Trading.
Proton therapy is said to be the most advanced and targeted cancer radiotherapy treatment due to its enhanced dose distribution and less side effects.
According to the firm, protons deposit the majority of their effective energy within a precisely controlled range, directly within the tumor, leaving healthy surrounding tissue.
