TriFoil Imaging has announced the launch of a new tabletop series of systems for in-vivo molecular imaging at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) Annual Meeting.

The first table top system to include full 360O CT, the InSyTe series will include multiple configurations including PET, SPECT and optical modalities.

TriFoil Imaging CEO Kevin Parnham said that the new InSyTe system with multiple configuration options, offers researchers new flexibility in choosing a mode or combination of modes in a more compact, lower cost device.

"It incorporates TriFoil’s top-quality technologies across PET, SPECT, optical and CT for mice and small rats," Parnham added.

TriFoil Imaging develops devices used by medical researchers for their advanced live-subject imaging needs across a wide range of applications. InSyTe’s unique system offers the highest quality at the best value by offering PET, SPECT, optical and CT modalities in a compact, easy to use package.

The system can be purchased with a single modality at the start and upgraded later to incorporate CT. It has a simple, consistent user-friendly interface for image reconstruction and co-registration across all modalities.

The addition of the InSyTe expands TriFoil Imaging’s product offering, which currently includes the Triumph II, a tri-modality (PET/SPECT/CT) imaging system, the eXplore CT 120 In vivo Micro CT scanner, and now, InSyTe, the first table top multi-mode imaging system with in-line CT.
