Toshiba Medical has introduced an entry-level ultrasound solution, offering healthcare providers an ergonomic system that supports fast and accurate exams.

The Xario 100 Platinum Series gives hospitals and imaging centers of any size the clinical benefits of high quality ultrasound technology within a cost-effective, easy-to-use system.

It features the company's advanced ultrasound technologies, comprising of precision imaging, differential tissue harmonics (D-THI) and advanced dynamic flow (ADF).

The system also uses fully customizable console and iStyle+ productivity suite, which is an adaptable user interface offering workflow automation tools for faster exams, including customizable keyboard and touch screen interface.

Xario 100 is a compact system that can be used for ultrasound imaging ranging from ER triage to vascular, musculoskeletal, obstetric and general abdominal imaging in different settings.

Toshiba also launched new XarioTM 200 Platinum Series ultrasound platform, which can be used to capture a variety of radiology, obstetric and cardiovascular exams.

The company is showcasing new ultrasound systems at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago.
