Toshiba America Medical Systems (TAMS), a provider of diagnostic imaging systems, has launched its Kalare Wireless X-ray system.

The Kalare Wireless consists of a new wireless 14×17 panel with a rotating bucky tray designed for optimal detector movement.

The rotating bucky tray rotates easily from portrait to landscape which reduces the need to lift and rotate the detector to enhance productivity.

The system’s processing and instant access to digital images reduce exam time and facilitates to improve workflow.

Toshiba X-ray Vascular Business Unit director Stephen Bumb said the wireless detector can be easily positioned to accommodate exams performed in or out of the bucky tray, to help increase the diagnostic flexibility of the Kalare.
