Titan Medical has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ohio State University (Ohio State).

The agreement allows Ohio State to test and assess the Titan’s Amadeus Next Generation Surgical Robotic Platform.

Ohio State will provide the company with detailed feedback as appropriate.

Titan Medical president Reiza Rayman said they are very pleased to have engaged in a MOU with the Ohio State University and to have the opportunity to closely work with their team of surgeons to advance the development of Amadeus Composer into clinical trials.

"we have successfully built relationships with teaching hospitals in the US in a collaborative effort to revolutionize robotic surgery and provide benefits to hospitals, surgeons, insurers and patients," Rayman said.

Titan Medical is currently developing Amadeus Composer and Amadeus Maestro which aids surgeons to overcome constraints of surgical procedures in small to medium spaces and large spaces respectively.
